Promotion from 25 March to 24 May 2026
Two exhibitions at a reduced price! Two exhibitions dedicated both to the political aspects of the ESC and to the glamour of the song contest. While Qwien’s “United by Queerness” focuses primarily on queer perspectives alongside the Eurovision Song Contest’s entanglements with world politics, the House of Austrian History (hdgö) presents objects in its exhibition “Unstoppable! Eurovision Song Contest Highlights in the Museum” that have made ESC history. At Qwien, for example, visitors can see the medal of Jean-Claude Pascal, the first gay winner of the ESC in 1961, while the hdgö features Conchita’s winning robe from the 2014 ESC. The costume of Nemo, the first non-binary person to win the ESC, is on display at Qwien, whereas the stage design for JJ’s “Wasted Love” can be seen at the hdgö.
So for ESC fans, it is definitely worth visiting both exhibitions. Anyone who shows a ticket from the other exhibition when purchasing admission will receive a discounted entry price. Please note: this offer is only valid until the end of the Qwien exhibition on 24 May.
